Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The policy has been amended in response to
requests from the School of Health
and Human Sciences, to remove the requirement for
staff to provide HR Services
with a serological report. At the present time,
the University does not have
the skills/knowledge to interpret this serological
information. Employees
will be required to the provide alternative
evidence or adequate immunisation
as set out in clause 16 and encouraged to discuss
their level of immunity
following vaccination, with their treating doctor
as set out in clause 17.

In addition, there have been a couple of minor
editorial amendments made, and
a clause has been added to Section 1 Purpose and
Scope, as follows:

(3) This policy should be read in conjunction with
the Vaccination Procedures.
