Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Policy rescinded by Vice Chancellor (Vice Chancellor’s Group meeting 10 February 2021). 


 


- A revised definition of "complaint" bringing this Policy in line with the current Australian

Standard (AS/NZS 10002:2014) and is recommended by the NSW Ombudsman.

- Including an upfront statement of principle underlying the complaints systems (to be easily

understood and accessible for students)

- Updating references where required including new (revised) Complaints Policy for Students (names of

relevant policies, legislation etc)

- Clarification about processes, particularly the determination of formal reviews (who is notified

etc)

- Other minor editorial changes
