Summary of Changes from Previous Version

18.6.2024: Delegation Schedule A updated to reference revised org structure for (previous) Financial Services. Approved by Council at its 11 June 2024 meeting. 


 


14.5.2024: Delegation Schedule B updated (provided by HR)


The changes: (a) clarify the delegate’s responsibility when exercising a delegation (see clause 17); (b) provide further information on a delegate’s responsibility when relying on advice or recommendations when exercising a delegation (see clauses 18 to 20) (c) provide further information on what is included in the cost of a transaction for the purpose of determining whether it falls within a delegate’s limit; (d) recognise that a delegation may be exercised through an online system (see clause 30); (e) specify that a delegation can be withdrawn or limited by a delegate’s supervisor; (f) include a section relating to the auditing of delegations and authorisations (see Section 5). This section has been added to meet the Threshold Standards 2015 requirement that the governing body of a higher education institute must attend to: "defining roles and delegating authority as is necessary for effective governance, policy development and management; and monitoring the implementation of those delegations"
