Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The procedure has been amended to: * clarify that students undertaking clinical placement in a hospital or other health setting, are not required to hold a working with children clearance; * clarify that work in a University students under the age of 18, is not child-related work; * make HR Services the only verification point for WWCCs for staff and volunteers and Blue Cards for staff (the responsibility to verify student clearances, and Qld volunteers remains with the relevant school or work unit); and * provide for an annual audit of WWCC and Blue Card Registers that are held by HR Services (for staff) and relevant schools/work units (for students and volunteers).
