Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The procedure has been amended to change the

approval authority for Academic appointments, to

joint approval by DVC(A) and DVC(R). In addition a

clause has been added to reflect the already

current practice of endorsement of nominations at

HOWU level or above being required.

A clause has been added to stipulate that no

appointment of an overseas candidate may occur

unless the International Security Sanctions and

Compliance requirements are met.
