Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Following a comprehensive review the Policy has been updated to set out:
a) the University's commitments to manage complaints
b) the processes to be followed in managing complaints (previously documented in the Complaints -Staff Procedures)
c) clarification of scope of Policy
d) include indicative timelines for resolving formal complaints
e) include information regarding support services available to complainants, both staff and students
f) extensive editorial re-write to improve coherence and clarity of document and reference current organisational structure.
